A View from the Mission Field | Eugene and Mary Long
What a great event!! The evening began with food, fun and fellowship between longtime friends of the Oviedo High School Class of `72. Eugene Long was well known among his classmates as energetic, personable and on his way to becoming a man of great influence. But God . . . God had plans for Eugene and Mary Long that would ultimately lead them to a 30-plus year ministry and service of Thailand’s Yellow Leaf people.
As the evening progressed, Eugene shared many stories, experiences and insights, which are going to assist Antioch's Missions Ministry team as they travel to Namibia Africa in June 2016. The most essential takeaway was to remain prayerful and respectful of people and their culture, lift Christ up and let God do the rest.
